My friend have a discovery 4,want to reset the mileage to zero,but I never do it before,don't know which errpom in the dashboard,so anybody can help me? Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure what chip the 4 has but the older discovery 3 has a m35080V6 eprom with mileage in cluster. The M35080V6 can't be programmed to a lower value with regual programmers, you need to use another new chip then. Or use a special M35080 eraser. Maybe its the same chip is dash for the discovery 4, not sure.

what about winding the milage UP to 999,999 then drive down the road for 20 mins, then wind to the milage you want?
