I have opened and can see 1 eeprom. Is this the correct eeprom in first pic I have circled.

If this is correct eeprom there is no reference to what type it is?

What should I read as? Is this 24c16?

How can you find an eeprom without disassemble the radio? It is not enough to just lift the upper body cover
