I have an obdstar X300 pro3 and in the Ram list it says
2006-2008
2009-
2010-

My doubt is if the RAM 3500 will fit on this list since it's a 2008 6.7 cummins and a program like Jprog you have to buy the 6.7 cummins software separately.
Anyone here can clarify if the x300 pro3 will do the 6.7 cummins under of the Ram options? The customer is coming from far away and I want to have everything ready.

anyone knows if x300 prog3 can do a 3500 2008 6.7 cummins? In the Dodge menu it only says ram and in the submenu the years.. I don't know if it will work on a 3500 cummins

Firstly, you can read the km, if the data is or close to the real km, then you can have a try

If not, then probably doesn't support

I understand, but i'd like to know if anyone knows this for sure, as I have a costumer that would have to travel about 400km just to do this, and it would be very bad for me to have him come here and not be capable of doing the job

Then you must be honest with your client and explain that there are different versions of software and that there is a 50% chance that it will work. And you give the possibility to make the decision to go or not go to you. Do not tell the customer anything if you are not sure.

of course, if anyone here had already done it with x300 prog3, or smelecom and could tell me if it worked or not, that would be great for me as I could give a sure answer. That is why I'm here asking, probably someone here as done it with one of these tools.. The only thing that leaves me thinking that it may not work is Jprog having a software just for the 3500 6.7 cumins.
