1997 Mitsubishi mirage eeprom

Hi does anyone know if the eeprom from a 1997 Mitsubishi mirage can be read from the board or does it need to be removed first. Thanks.

eeprom 93c46, you can read in circuit, however I always prefer to remove eeprom before reading,.

Hi Jomberykaso would you know if the gauge needles just need a twist and turn to remove without damaging them? Thanks heaps.

612185I wanted to use a clip to connect to the eeprom, don't have enough room with the needle still in place. Don't have the equipment/knowledge to take eeprom off. Just not sure if pulling needle off damages anything, Thanks.
