I can connect to xbox live iv tested the connect on the xbox and it passes the network test then the internet test but then it fails connectin to xbox live could someone tell me why please?

Is this the xbox live in the network test. Not trying to connect through dashboard?

If it is in network test phone your provider and get help.

If its from dashboard set up a new profile and click xbox live and setup an account.

P.S how are you connecting?

Wired from router. If so reset the modem and router then turn on xbox and do the connection test.
