Hi, can someone find the powerclass in this flash or have some hint where to look for? I need to change it in the ECU.

CCM - WFS4 , ECU - WFS5 , power class of course is different , but even if they were the same power class , nothing do married :)

are you sure this ccm is wfs4? this ccm comes from factory with a cuwa engine edc17c64 married. you can lookup the vin from the ccm
if it's not possible, how did vw do it?

Usual in those cases ECU support lower immo generation.

Exist simple , very simple method to check, give me one query from ECU (immo request) and I talk all - about used by this ECU immo system :)

sounds good. do you have the can id to look for? otherwise i would capture all packets for 10s at ignition on but i first need to wait for an usb can bus reader. will be interesting to see.
will we also find the powerclass in these messages or is it crypted and not possible to read out?

but the problem is still that i need to change the powerclass in the ecu. or otherwise i would need to buy a new elv and change the powerclass in ccm.

1-For all VAG ECU ( MASTER ) canbus query ID is 0x010
2-If this ECU have active WFS5(of course have ...) , Change the power-class will not help in Your case in anything...

This eeprom dump is coming from a different CC with ccm and same engine but just 150hp. Don't know if it helps.

I had problem with matching ECU and cluster in 2015 Scirocco after flash EDC from CUUB to CUWA.
Of course 04L907309G ECU will work with 2015 CCM with F ending. CUWA has B0 power class and CUVC probably will have A3 as CUUB (both 150PS). Remember you have power class in flash and eeprom (I would check it for you but can't download your attachement).

nice. i finally found it in the flash while searching for something else. for me it looks as it would always be on a very similar position. i did not care much about it in the last months because immo off worked for me.
