Hey Guys,

Im trying to set something up so i can read 4c key codes without having to use my car to read them. (which means pulling out my ecu each time to read/write the eeprom) I have a key antenna and amplifier and a spare ecu. but ive learned the ecu wont function without the engine harness. Before I try and wire up everything on my bench and trick it into thinking the engine is plugged in, is there another way to read the 4 part hexadecimal key codes?

Thanks

well its the immo data for the keys. in the format XX XX XX XX as if i read it from the immo eeprom. I hope that makes sense

just wanted to add an update. There was one chassis ground the ecu needed to power up. Then its just ground out KSW pin and power up Main Relay pin and the ecu will begin a key read. With an antenna/amplifier hooked up i can now read in keys on the bench without having to put the ecu in my car.
