Hey gang,
I have sbb with v33 I believe. I want to bring it back to life, used to work just fine,
some time ago it started just shutting down after 2-3 minutes you plug in to any vehicle.
No matter what you do it just shuts down after couple minutes.
Anyone have experienced this? Anyway to fix it?
Thank you

have you opened it up , might just be capacitor or something easy to spot maybe a lose wire or something there are only 4 screws to open it or try a different lead .
There are a lot of relays inside them so it could be hard to find a failure with one of these .

The original would be a TKO by ILCO. I doubt they are easy to find. I don't remember it ever being that popular to begin with and since ILCO bought advanced diagnostic I'm sure they tried to get rid of as many old systems as possible.

you can check that LMXXXX regulator there to see if that is working. (near that geen text ME0184B LC)

Hey everyone,
update: found poor soldering on main adapter connector that from board side and one bad fuse. Cleaned, resoldered many contacts, replaced that fuse.
Seem to be working fine now.
