Hello DKers,

I was hoping someone could help me identify the problem. I was trying to swap clusters for Audi A4 B7, from monochome to color, both are Bosch RB8, I have transferred keys/CS, basically the immo data from old cluster, adjusted odo without any poblem, but car does not start, I have tried disconnecting the battery, but now I am out of ideas, could someone check dumps I have prepared for both clusters, maybe there is something I am missing?

Hello

Try to set CS and Mac manually form ECU data in new dash. Then program keys by procedure. Should Help :)

CS and MAC does match ECU data. And as far as I know I cannot progam new keys using VCDS for this particular type of cluster. :)

You can do this by AVDI, read data from ECU, write it to your dash, and program keys by AVDI.

Are you sure that both clusters are same immo generation. 1.8t and 2.5tdi are immo3 other immo4. They differ a lot.

Maybe You know, how can i read skc/Pin code of Audi a4 b7 cluster, 8e0920901d. I have a blue chinese kkl cable and vag eeprom, i cant to do it. Thanks.

I believe yes, because key data, CS and MAC fit perfectly to the new cluster. CS had the same byte length as well.
Also, ECU seems to have the same immo data as the new cluster, which I wrote already using FVDI. CS/MAC does match, but I cannot adapt new keys as it says ECU is not responsive (does not communicate with cluster), even though IMMO is ON.
Any other ideas?

In B6-B7 i think that the dash have the role of the can gateway this is why they don't communicate .

Have you dtc in ecu cluster and on getaway? Transfer you ecu class to cluster ? Have this car component protection? Post VCDS log
