Lexus RX400h AKL cant reset the immo

The models in question are 2006 - 2010 Lexus rx400h AKL situation.
Normaly i reset the immo with avdi from channel 6 but sometimes doesnt work so I use the orange dongle (smartkey maker) and this always done the trick. Until last week when I had a 2009 model and I could not reset the immo by obd. I had to take the dash out and take the immobox out and do it eeprom. What a nightmare job especialy because i had to do it in the street.
And today I had a 2007 model and the bastard didnt work either by obd. I did it eeprom again.
I never had this problem and now 2 in a row.
And this eeprom job is nasty...

I tried :
autek
skp
mvp
x100
avdi
orange dongle
obdstar
and nothing.....or maybe i missed something

What tools do you use to do AKL on this ones?

Avdi looks like the best tool you own.
If that failed, i dont think other tool Will except for tango.
It is called Toyota plus, a tango obd feature.

Sure that the cars voltage was good?

There few things that can happen.
1. Immo. And Ecu are out of Sinx.
2. The Door latch is defective.
3. Dead short in main battery, causing it to corrupt the iD box, or ecu

Happened to me once remove battery lead for 15min try again...

Depends where the Lexus is. Some UK RX400H around that sort of era do not reset. without location, VIN or any other info, cant really say if its the car, or something else.
