Hello Everyone!

I have audi a6 2011 3.0tdi 245hp

4g0 907 401 F
Edc17cp44
Hw 37

Car is tuned somewhere already, now needs DPF Off.

Tried using reworked KTag on bench in boot mode, but says ”micro unprotection failed”

Strange thing is that KSuite is sure that car with 245HP is CP20, eventhough its wtitten cp44 on the ecu.

I wired it and used protos for cp44.

What do i miss? Tried using proto 268 and 203.

Thanks!

Up! Could someone please compare the connections to what you have for that module?

My Ksuite says:

+12 6,50
GND 1
Can-H 79
Can-L 80
Boot soldered (no resistors, just 1 wire)

In internet I have found 5,50 for the +12 and boot is obtained by adding 3 1kohm resistors to the circuit.

Tried only KSuite instructions. Scared to burn the ECU, not in the mood to connect +12V according to some random internet diagram. But still confused, why diagrams differ.

MagPro - the same.

Info if you do actually have a TriCore ecu:
I am trying to ID my VW EDC17CP44 TriCore with a clone Kess.
It shows the same pin-outs as you and it also provides the same 268 protocol.
The funny thing is that it reports that I have the wrong protocol and should be using 226.

The software that came with the unit was less than a year old and still didn't even have the 268 protocol.
It seems that now I need protocol 226.

Maybe download a few versions of Ksuite to see if it can properly identify your ecu and provide the needed protocol.
Until you can select TOOL then ECU DATA and transfer the identification, I wouldn't be writing anything.
(Note TOOL then ECU DATA is for Kess. I don't know the Ktag choices)

There have been a few posts of a KSuite version done by SVVAG2000 that I would love to try out if I could find it (Kess needs 2.47).
Good luck to both of us.

EDIT: I recently read (from a kitnoos2002 post) that the protocols come from the SD card. You may try updating that too.
This is for Kess but someone said that it works for Ktag as well:
