Don't forget that if your ELV is dead, or not connected, or virgin, or not matched, then you will NOT be able to do anything with your CCM. So also pincode will fail !
So power up the system with the original ELV attached (even if faulty), then use your pincode, then swap in virgin ELV for example without removing power to CCM !
