Hey everybody!

I have a VW Golf 5 and I'm trying to change my cluster. The current cluster is a Visteon and my ECU is Magneti Marelli. I don't know how to retrieve the powerclass from my current cluster but heard there is a way to get it from the VIN.

Engine: 1.4l petrol, 80 HP
VIN: WVWZZZ1KZ9W135522

Can anybody tell me the correct powerclass from this info?

Not the nicest way to answer a question but I’ll take it. Thanks for the info.

What is a working way to retrieve the powerclass from that cluster/ECU combination?

Try powerclass 28. Should be correct for engine code BUD and CGGA
