I had a smart meter installed but have since changed my mind because I am still getting estimated bills and would prefer to go back to my old meter. Do I have the right to do this? Any one got letter template to change back to old meters.

Sorry was going to reply but got distracted

1) if early move different supplies will go dump
2) rumour states the smart is an add on so yes
3) due to “smart meter roll out” where MILLIONS of working meters
Made out of plastic have been skipped as it’s cheaper to bin than reuse
You will be months to get it changed
4) bbc watchdawg did an article other day, but was asleep so no idea what anout
5) if you tweet smartenergy gb anything they block you

Before you change say

“I’m with xxx electric co, with a yyy smart meter, is it compatible with your system “

if no tell them great, if not tell them to pish off.

is it possible

1) 2 meters of concrete around the meter
2) lead shield around it
3) TRY gsm jammer eBay, then aluminium lined plywood
See if your mobile phones still work

b&q sell plywood, not that anybody found out what happened!
