yes this is a true usb powered programer it has a brilliant range ime just trying mine out now but its easy to use no jumpers
and the mcu mall guys are good for support either phone or email
has a great big device list and a few adapters work with it
cheap too ime just getting started thats why i chose this programer..... cool
