I have repaired several steering locks for W204 and W207, so far. Statistically, 2/10 of steering locks often present the same and known problem as regard with the motor within a period of 2-3 months. Except motor, what other reason can lead to or cause this kind of problem? If the problems are due to the motor solely, do you have a reputable -trustworthy- motor seller to suggest?

Best regards

hello i purchase ESl motor from simon touch , also note that it could be a NEC problem, in this case you should have a tool to enable the NEC

HI,
The worm gear from Simon Touch motors isn't perfect so you get more noise from ELV.
Also NEC can have 0xAA Flag witch is also a problem, so installing some EMU isn't such a bad idea, unless customer insists on Real ELV.
