Mazda 5 remote programming

I’ve done a few Mazda keys previously but with this Mazda 5 2006 I’ve been unable to get the car to acknowledge that is in programming mode. I have a still working remote key of the customer and a new KD remote key.

Neither remotes will program to the car and I don’t think I’m able to go into programming mode as no central locking cycle acknowledgement.

can anyone on here offer any advice?

ive used the info on Wikirke. Tried at least ten times.

Does illumination lights works good when door close and open. Maybe you got problem with door switch?

Yes the light works. The internal light was set to off when I first tried programming but I later switched it to “door” and it then came on/off with door open/close.
