Pulled pin as 4057
Cannot learn key says access not granted

I tried supervag it pulled same 4057 pin from engine

I tried learn with supervag same error
Function 10 cannot complete now incorrect pin is entered

I tried a 0 in front to make sure it wasn't 5 digit.

Now I'm stuck for ideas. Any help

Also ust tried VCDS , it says pin must be 5 digit,, so i tried with 0 before it and it still says incorrect pin code.

HAS ECU locked me out, how long do i need to wait if it has? is there any counter i can find with any of my tools,, or a reason why its not accepting the code

do this Determining IMMO-ID & VIN[Select]
[25 - Immobilizer]
[Meas. Blocks - 08]
Select Block 081.
[Go!]
The first 17-digit string is the VIN. The second 14-digit string in the Immo-ID..
[Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

Key MatchingPrerequisites:

All keys are either brand new or were adapted to this car (IMMO-ID) before.
You can match up to 8 keys.
While adapting each key, make sure to place the other keys away from the ignition lock (reader coil). The passenger seat is an adequate place.
Battery voltage at least 12.0 V.

[Select]
[25 - Immobilizer]
[Meas. Blocks - 08]
Select Block 001.
[Go!]
The value in field 3 must be Yes. If value is No, the key is not capable of being adapted to Immobilizer.
You can check each key in this manner.Select Block 003.
[Go!]
Make sure the shown lock times in field 1, 2 and 3 are 0 (each field represents a time in minutes).

If the lock times are NOT 0:

Do NOT switch off the ignition!
Allow the car to sit for AT LEAST the number of minutes that were indicated by the fields 1-3.

If lockout time was present check Group 1.3 as mentioned above to confirm "Yes" is shown.
[Done, Go Back]
[Security Access - 16]

4-digit PIN

Enter zero followed by the 4-digit PIN. For example, if your PIN is 1234, enter 01234.

[Do it!]
[Adaptation - 10]
Enter 001 in "Channel Number".
[Read]
The "Stored Value" is the number of keys currently matched.
Enter a "new value" corresponding to the total number of keys to be matched, including any existing keys.
The old keys are automatically being cleared.
[Save]
[Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

Repeat the following steps until all keys have been matched:

Switch ignition off and remove key.
Insert next key to ignition and switch ignition on again.
The warning light for the Immobilizer will light up for ~2 seconds, then go out.

Note: The above steps after saving the adaptation, should not exceed 60 seconds!

Connect to cluster, and read out the name of the manufacturer.

You can use VCDS.

When i plugged in VCDS, under immobiliser - Security access was greyed out, could not click on it ???? it read immobiliser info fine, could click on other options but not security access

Anyway, i finished the job with SBB in the end, it took the PIN instantly and coded the key to the car.

it was 920940c cluster

no need to prepare a dealer key on this year of beetle just program a blank T6 id48 chip , once you have read pin go straight to key learning

VCDS
17-instrument cluster
08-Measured values
22-channel see parameter 3 should be 1. this means that you are using a suitable transponder. If 0 then the transponder does not fit.
23-channel see parameter 2 should be 0 (unlock). If 1 then transponder lock.
43-channel see parameter 1 & 4 should be 0. If not 0 then ignition on and wait

Use ID48 cripto (unlock)
