EDC16C35 eeprom checksum (dtc 46d1)

Can someone please correct checksum for the eeprom? Have DTC 46D1. I could probably do it by myself but I dont know which algorithm is used for calculating checksum :X

Hi mate.

Don’t know if this means you got upset by me posting a file for a pal or not, english is not my mother language and so yours, but from your first reply to this thread i understood you provided him a dump somehow cleared where he needs to “enter new vin” or something like that, and what i did was upload his dump fixed my way just for him no need other to write to eeprom and run.

Never my intention was other than help the pal, of course was not trying to offend anyone and even less to offend you.

Also on this your reply i am quoting i understand that effectively THERE WAS A REPORT THAT FILE NOT WORKS, because no ending “?” There. And not understand the meaning of your signature and the reference to it regarding this whole context.

Anyway, i am on birthday today, hope you all spend the day at least as happy as i intend to do.

to save it to the eeprom

Really just fixed 46d1 problem as requested by the op.

If other problem in eeprom is present i didn’t take care of.

yea the cks was the only problem related to DTC 46D1. File from morgano is working and dtc is gone. Thanks once again.
