Hello All
I know this has device has been out for a while but there’s not a lot of info on how good or bad it is at adding keys and all keys lost.
Few vids on YouTube etc but don’t trust them prefer to hear from men who’ve used it first hand

No Handy Baby 1 with assistDon't spend money on tools that you will never use, probably.you have much better tools already.you already have supervag and VAG tacho.these cam do much more than HB with assistant.
Don't be afraid to use them!
This is just my opinion,I don't have the assistant..

Hi Comizelu
I know mate this was another tool I bought at the start and never used just curious to see what it can or can’t do.
The days of buying crap are well behind me now 👍🏻

it works on what its coverage list claims it works on , just better options exist , but it works , akl is very limited coverage . any kit is only crap if it fails to achieve payback and profit , if no option elsewhere it pays back in a few jobs , so for some a worthwhile investment for others not so .

True I suppose the crappy tools can pull you out of a hole at times. Had this a few times couldn’t pull pin on older Audi and the $50 orange vag reader done it 🤗

last time i used i nearly s myself this was a seat 2015 diesel dashboard went dark and customer key would not work thanks disconnected the battery and the obd tool
and connected vcds provably the best supported tool for vag to clear fault codes and allwas okay after i had to use the keyline id 48 to clone key unfortunately the list is
not very clear i heard can do also lost keys but not tried myself
i would be good if we get a proper list on what it works the also brought out the new assistant that cover more vehicles according to videos does not damage vehicles
you simply disconnect battery to reset dash but not a nice feeling when you have customer watching over and then turn key and nothing happens .

I know hence the post heard a few stories similar to yours. It’s always a scary thing when dash goes black happened to me on a 2012 Polo with Supervag done battery reset all was good minus the brown stain on my under pants.
The assistant 1 is supposed to do a lot more than stated in their paperwork but it’s unknown and little or no information on it.
A list of tried and tested results would be good

Looks like the new one , though expensive (about 400 euro) is doing a fast job on the MQB keys which is making live easier and would be giving a safety backup in case other tools would fail (for MQB and new VAG not too many good tools). You need handy baby 2 if I see this ?
Which other tools outside the ultra expensive VVDI / Abrites would be doing this? I have IM608 from Autel, might be that this would work as well, not tested yet

Wow!!!
If you want to make money spend money!
If you don't want to spend money on tools you are not making any money and one day you will cry too...

Think you don't getting my point.... I do have several modules from Abrites, I do have the IM608 from Autel, I do have Handy Baby 2, KD-X2, VVDI key tool (underway), official OpCom, official VCDS and a bunch of others... I agree fully, you need to invest not to be left out in the cold if something is not working for you. I did however mentioned VVDI as being ultra expensive as where I meant AVDI / Abrites (not VVDI / Abrites), sorry for that.
My point was, this assistant tool for Handy Baby does not seem to be that bad working, might well be worth the money

You can't trust a video made by them.
Best will be to buy and check yourself..
I don't have first or second assistant.dont need it! Can't review it.
I own vvdi2 and I'm very happy with it at least on vag.
Last week I've done an Audi RS3 late 2016 mqb system in less than 5mins.
There is no point for me to buy assistant!
