Hi,
I've had my EOS decated and mapped with the help here only to stop the regeneration a while ago. It produces a lot of grey smoke when idle and of course the pungent smell for the convertible is a major nuisance. At higher rpms it mostly goes away and drives very nicely. MPG is not terrible but honestly could be better for a small diesel. 38-46..., and even worse in the city.
Could we do anything with the map to reduce the smoke at idle please?
I'd put the filter back in but unfortunately they are so rare and expensive for this model that at just under 150k it makes zero sense.
