Anybody have hardware solution for Mercedes Comand USA-model (2006-2008) MCS II alpine for enable Europe scaning for Radio?

The DAS can not change the US settings to EU.

i tried this a little time ago.
the problem is its alpine for america and harmann becker for europe

i had burned an alpine navimap take from alpine universal radio euromap dvd. (used only mapfiles)
and take the install files from orginal alpine dvd that comes with the alpine comand.

compiled a navi dvd.
it reads the dvd, can give in a route. then the system hangs.
can look the mappicture, but not zoom in on map. then system hangs!


i think i burned it not good.
alpine has problems with burned navi dvd, i have heard.


maybe, can use an navi dvd of europe crysler car,
i believe crysler crossfire with comand uses alpine europe dvd maps.

but i havent tried this out!!:celticscarf:
