Hello;
After unlocking a ecu pcr2.1 with fgtech successfully, wanted to read on bench to save backup before put back on car, I forgot resistors soldered on board when tried to read by using CAN protocol, and here, no communication, and after put back on car, no communication also...
A real trouble..
Read Eepom 95640 with upa, file attached. Help much appreciated..
All the best.

May sound silly but...

Did you remove the resistors and cleaned well the solder zone?

Soldered resistors while reading by CAN can't damage ECU. You damage it while opening, or later.

Put the ecu back on the table and write with the original file
1 = open the ecu, check if endomager phisically
2 = connect the wires by boot mode
3 = choose the driver in "CAR" check if the ecu answers "Data click"
4 = if the ecu displays ecu information, the ecu is still operational.
5 = if no data is displayed "open file" then "progammer" (write force) with the original file.
6 = if writing ok (you are saving)
7 = if writing force does not pass, try several times ...
8 = if no answer from ecu (you are wrong) ecu out of service
9 = after unlock = unzip the resistors and exit toolUnlock before reading, otherwise impossible to read with solder resistance if you are in drivers toolUnlock ...
10 = after unlock = exit from toolUnlock, choose a drivers below the toolUnlock function, drivers that corresponds to the ECU example TRICORE TC1796 processor ... Then read possible.
important = unlock must be done once ...

Thanks for your replies mates, but for opening, I always use heating gun, and I really care, cover doesn't look even touched, I double checked board, to see any residue of tin or something, nothing.. Ecu still mute.. can't even recover..
Thanks for all.

Hello Amine13, you have tried to reprogram on table in boot mode as indicate?
Have you opened the ecu (without welding resistance) following the steps
1) read ecu data
2) choose the driver in CAR
3) choose program file
4) choose the original file
if the ecu does not respond, it is damaged or blocked
if the ecu is still good it will accept the original file
on the table the ecu only accepts the original file.
by obd if the ecu is Unlocker it accepts mod files.
To be certain that the ECU is dead, you must use another reprogramming tool and repeat the tests.
