Hi there,
i have a question to the "new genius" clone tool and its carlist.
As far as i found out, it should be a pure OBD-tool, right? So, for BDM operations you need some other tools, thats ok so far..
In the carlist of that new genius tool, there are some ECUs - eg. EDC17CP45 for bmw F-models - and there stands "NG + Boot/NT Tricore".
What does this mean? What does this "Boot 220" next to the ecu typ mean?

What do all these 3 options mean?
- i suppose "NG" means, new genius -> OBD, right?
- NG + NT Tricore
- NG + Boot/NT Tricore

thanks for your help.

here is a link to the carlist i am talking about:
