Hi

Can anyone please help me to change the location of the web interface for dreambox.

I have installed with nabilosat 0.8maxvar and wish to change url to be like -
http://ip-address-of-dreambox/dreambox

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks

I have managed to access the dreambox over the net. Cause was netgear remote connection was on port 8080 which was conflicting with dreambox.

When i connect to the dreambox select zap followed by the channel and then click on vlc. Downloads the *.m3u and starts it up in vlc.

Problem now is that its picking up my local ip and not my static ip?

Would appreciate if someone can help.

Thanks

well to be honest i use pli images. First i dont know how to change the url but this is no problem cause if you want to see channels through out the web you can use dyndns. you have to delelect the dhcp from the dream then you will be static, also you can change port of web if and if you use ddns you can access the dream webif local and from web typing your ddns and port like aaaaa.dyndns.org is offline (http://aaaaa.dyndns.org:8888)

as for see the channel from dm to pc you can simply from any vlc version you can choose file open -- network stream ---- http (your url : port for pli 31344) and then ok after this you can see from dream streaming right to your pc no m3u needed.

:congrats:
