Good day, anybody help ... Im looking for solder points ... to this tacho ...

readed ... points at the attachement, but there is another problem ...

i made backup by obd but x-tool didn't detect MCU correctly ...
dumped flash has 524kb ... moto is 9s12xhz256 256kb flash ...

have sb flash to Dash P31412535 to compare ...

read by x-tool but i think its trash data ... when i read by programmer size was 256kb

doesn't work ... memory map is different, i will try split flash file ...
flash has two banks in mcu256 2x128kb in mci512 2x256kb but i haven't no one to compare ...

I splited file - copy made by odb2 via x-tool size 512KB file for 4 blocks size 4x1FFFF ... blocks 2-3 has no data (filled FF). I made flash with 1 and 4 block only.
I will test it today :)

your flash size is 524kb, reading is ok, dont look at markings of processor. after 2010 volvo dim use only processors with 524kb memmory. in dump bootloader area you can find this "KPITKPIT-12XHZ512-7"

newer dims use also motorola procesors with marking XHZ384 but flash any way is 524kb

reading isn't ok inside tacho was moto 9S12XHZ256 flash size 128+128= 256kB

split flash for 4 blocks was good idea ...
first block and last block has a correct data, blocks two and three has trash data (FF filed), i made a flash only with block 1 and 4 (size 128+128=256kB).
tacho started correct ...

I need something more ... anybody knows how to patch flash to block cem synchro ?

look at memory map XHZ384 flash size is 384kB 128+256 in two banks
