hi all, ive never worked on saab before but customer lost all keys, 2008
I seen i thinki need to remove CIM,, cannot do by OBD with AKL?
Can anyone show instructions where the CIM is , how to remove, and whether i can clip onto this with SOIP clip or not?

Well first time a bit difficult, but second time gets easier, check this video, you need tmpro to do this. check tmpro picture for the eeprom, watch this video, how to remove. you cant do lost key via obd.
ps. when you remove the clock spring, make markings. also the last one that i did, the steering was turned little bit,it helps a lot, but you can even push the springs that hold the airbag unit inwards from the top, at 45 deg angle with a long narrow screw driver, becouse the cowling on them is a bit soft.

I havent checked tango or vvdi prog(different method to add files to immo data compared to tmpro)), i was just referring to the best tool for Saab cim, but i havent used vvdi prog/tango on Saab, so cant comment on that, but on tmpro, few times,lost key.
