in a vw golf 4 ecu replaced with same hw, and just swap eeprom..... (i think is simos 2.x right?)

car starts, but i have now 01177 fault...

i must swap flash too? AM29F200AB

Possible Causes



Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Engine Control Module (ECM) faulty
Engine Control Module (ECM) incompatible
Engine Control Module (ECM) faulty
Engine Control Module (ECM) modified

Immobilizer removed
Chiptuning (Chip replaced)



I think you need to repair your modifications
this error is not meant to disturb you
correct it as it should and the error will disappear
Who will repair this after you, later

In first time I was not capable to erase the error.

I try to read the flash with galletto (can't make it)

I put back the ecu on car, but now i delete the fault and didn't came back.....

I test it some times to see what happens....

Car now seems to work fine....
