We can also test the hex file with the simulator software (http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en019469&part=SW007002#P153_5140) from the manufacturer.

you have to change the PIC and three serial EEPROMs (they hold the serial number). I can send you all the preprogrammed chips, but charge USD150 for it, because I've paid USD1000 for PIC code extraction and I'd like to get some money back. Sorry for that, hope you understand. After you replace all the ICs, you can use the programmer with the latest ELNEC software without any problem and also upcoming updates will work fine...

Dont't waste your time. You won't be able to read the PIC because it has Code Protect fuses programmed in in every Beeprog. The only way to extract the code from protected device is to do direct MCU attack (costs USD1000-2000) as was already mentioned earlier in this thread.

Also keep in mind, that to repair the locked programmer, you also have to reprogram three serial eeproms with new serial number (the special hash must be calculated).

If anyone needs help, send me a PM. I can provide all preprogrammed ICs (for some reasonable charge, as it cost me some money too).

There is no such guarantee;)
I can give guaranty that the set of IC's wil work fine with the current latest firmware (v2.67 at the moment) and will not be blocked by this version. It will most likely work with the future versions as well, but I can't guarantee that as I can't predict what comes in the future;) Buy original if you want to be sure...

Do not update to version v2.68 of ELNEC control software! It will kill your BeeProg programmer made in China - see my page for details:

Hi guys.
I bought the PIC and the 3 24c02 files but the programmer is equal, doesnt work.
Mine doesnt give the fake message, it tells it is impossible to get communication with the programmer.
The software founds it in LPT port or USB but after recognize it tells communication impossible.
I can share with you the 24c02 files but you need to compare with yours and change the serial number.
For the PIC I am not able to share because I cant read it.
Any case the problem is still there.

Hi, I did not read it yet because I use vers 2.67 and I get up to my idea to update my programmer. When I bought it I want to make it work with original software, I bought a pic and want to write the software from here in pic and read the memories and try to upgrade but now I start to use it and did not have time to play with it. Did you program also the eeprom memory. You can find it at the end of the dump, the last 256 bytes. Labtool will not import the eeprom and you will need to enter by hand.

No that eeproms, I mean eeprom from pic. The pic has also internal eeprom which I noticed it not imported by labtool. Labtool will import only the flash from pic but ignore the internal eeprom. You can see it at the end of the pic dump. the last 256 bytes.

The dump from bellautos is ok. Tested today myself on a wrecked beeprog from a friend and I manage to repair it. I use microchip icd2 for programing, and the config from picture are wrong

First of All I would like to say that I used pickit3 to repair a beeprog from a friend of mine...
It seems that most of us have problems setting the configuration bits etc...
I have attached pic.hex with include config bits and user id's, eeprom contents (posted by BellAutos), picture of pickit3 standalone programmer etc...
Hope this helps since I lost some time of mine figuring out why diffrent error codes where reported by elnec soft

When a man does stupid things. Problem solved. The problem was the version of the program. I knew that my BeeProg was not supported by new versions. But I don't even know how I installed it on the computer I was constantly working on. I installed the other two and I don't remember when I'm on a work computer. Basically the largest version of the software is 3.32 which supports BeeProg. BeeProg2 and BeeProg + can also have New versions. Stupid on my part but when it stops working the most important tool in the workshop ...... PANIC

BeeProg works great. Be sure to clean the Eprom and processor pins well because BeeProg "sees" the lowest resistance outside of the one listed in the catalog for a given chip. It often reports contact errors for some pins. They will read it only if everything is according to the regulations and that is why they give it that less than 1% is a possible mistake
