Mazda 6 2016 cannot program proxy key

Obdstar says wrong pin code after horn sounds

Mvp pro says failed after the 3 min security bypass


Any idea what could be wrong.
It's the 4 button smart key

Finally got through security using Mazda 6 2017+ on MVP PRO,

After it says press BREAK for Manual cars, and hold the new key over start stop to program (light will go green when finished)

however, as soon as i put foot on break, it goes green anyway, because im just ADDING prox key and obviously there is another key there ready to start the car


Is MVP missing some instructions, does original key need to be out car after igniton is turned on with it or what??

Before ADDING a PROX make sure you have at
least one of the 2 already working PROX available.
This is because of the way MAZDA designed the
system.
Before the PROX that has been added will work
properly the engine MUST be started with TWO
prox keys.
If you ADD a Prox but DO NOT have the other
PROX available the new prox may not work properly
until the engine is started with each of the 2
PROX KEYS.
The process can be completed later by starting the
engine with the other prox but this is something to
be aware of as your customer will likely NOT be
happy until everything works as designed.

thanks, yes i understand, MVP pro said hold new key near start button and press brake, i did and yet it didnt program key, button stayed green like ready to start (because it could see customer original prox)

lost a token and walked away from job, might go back,, original customer key still worked fine, with prox, after this fail.


only trying to ADD key, not to clear any. mvp pro has option to add only

Had the same issue a few days ago on a 17
Autek ikey820 saved the day

That piece of crap hasn't seen use in forever

99.9% of time ck200 x300dp and ikey820 can take care of it
