Hi, good evening to all.
I have this car (Megane II, 1.4 16v, 2004) with a faulty ecu.
Have found exactly same reference number from scrapyard.
As both ecus, are identical, I assume flash should be the same.
The eeprom on them its a 95160.
If a dismantle the used one, and programm its eeprom with a virgin dump (I have found it here on DK)..how would be the process to learn this used ecu to car, please ??

Have read that once fitted with a virgin dump, put it back to car, give ignition on for two minutes, and it will do a self learning process. Is this right like that ??
Or need maybe any diag tool to make that new adaptation ??

If the self learning process is OK, then just after the two minutes waiting, can simply run the ignition and the car ??
Or is there anything else to care about, please ??

Thanks so much for any tip on this.
Regards to all.

rewrite the eeprom from your ecm. no need to use virgin

Hi, good morning.
I have tried to write in the new used ECU the original dump of the 95160 eeprom.
When unit fitted in car, very strange behaviour !!!, rpm goes to 4000, some lights blinking in dash, rpm again goes to 2000, to later go again to 4000.

¿¿ ??
Why is this happening ??? Ecus are identical references.

Thanks again.

Catalizator, as I said before, I have copied eeprom from original into a new 95160, and car behaviour is very strange.
Dont really understand why, as the two units are identical.

Thanks so much.

[/ CITA]

place the virgin data, open contact for 10 minutes. and ready.

Try to clone all contents of old ecu to new one ... 64f7055 and 95160 ... When reading flash use resistance of 700 and when write 470 if using piasini ... I think ktag also can do this
