Hi, good evening to all.
I have this car (Megane II, 1.4 16v, 2004) with a faulty ecu.
Have found exactly same reference number from scrapyard.
As both ecus, are identical, I assume flash should be the same.
The eeprom on them its a 95160.
If a dismantle the used one, and programm its eeprom with a virgin dump (I have found it here on DK)..how would be the process to learn this used ecu to car, please ??
Have read that once fitted with a virgin dump, put it back to car, give ignition on for two minutes, and it will do a self learning process. Is this right like that ??
Or need maybe any diag tool to make that new adaptation ??
If the self learning process is OK, then just after the two minutes waiting, can simply run the ignition and the car ??
Or is there anything else to care about, please ??
Thanks so much for any tip on this.
Regards to all.
