Hello guys,

I`ve been working for like 2 years on my 2002 Skoda Octavia MK I vRS (AUQ engine code) and i am now soo close to stage 2.
Current engine mods are:
- 76mm (3inch) turbo-back exhaust
- 550x230x63 front mounted intercooler with 63mm (2.5inch) piping
- Forge 008 diverter valve
- Deatschwerks DW65V in-tank fuel pump
- 386 cc BAM fuel injectors (not installed yet, 317cc AUQ ones still in place until remap)
- Honda S2000 air filter + 63mm aluminium turbo intake pipe
- Ultimate delete (brake booster, N249, SAI pump, etc.)
- Stock K03S turbo
Dyno of current setup is attached.
Since i dont have stronger Forge actuator, i guess that with this setup a remap should get my car to 230-235 hp.

I am a perfectionist and i would like to do my own remap but i`ve just ordered the tools for this. So i`m a big newb :crushed:
Would you guys please help me out with a file that fits my setup ?
You can find the stock file of my car attached.

Many thanks in advance!:victorious:

Thank you for the heads up!
But, from what i`ve heard, for that level of power, i either use 4bar FPR on 317cc injectors or use he 386cc (which i got new for a good price) injectors with stock 3bar FPR.
And since the 386cc injectors are new, i would prefer using those.

317cc is fine for 235hp but you can also fit in file s3 injectors it is not very complicated

Hey, calibracbr, are you willing to help me out with a slightly modified file (guessing its risky to push it without small tweaks done on the dyno) for my setup if you have some spare time?
After I spent all day checking some nefmoto, s4wiki, chiptuners tutorials and documents... i guess i wont be doing any remap in the nearest future just by myself without any help. I got a loooot to learn :crushed:

got local tuner. With this specs better to do on car !

I totally agree with you, it should be done by a pro tuner. But i want to learn how to adapt the software by myself.
All the hardware modifications were chosen and done by me (except the welding bits since i didnt have the tools) after i understood how things work and choose what i thought is best.

This being said, i will start with a small modification of the map, the injector scaling ( AUQ:0280156061 317cc -> BAM:0280156063 386cc).
For this adaptation i understood that there are 5 things that need to be attended:
-KRKTE (Stock: 0.10311 Modded:0.083195)
-TVUB (i will replace my current values with the TT 225hp ones) Is this ok? I`ve attached an image for comparison.
-TEMIN (same values, no need to touch this)
-TEMINVA (same values, no need to touch this)
-FKKVS (here is where i have my doubts) Should i keep mine? Should i use the TT 225hp one? Or should i try to use the FKKVS fixer tool?

Can you guys share your knowledge regarding the points above? Pretty please!:tears_of_joy:

KRKTE need loging untill it fits your tune

do all the above, then set FKKVS to 1.0 all over the map , then log log log tune tune tune

Hello,
Before i start doing the above modifications (317cc ->386cc injectors) i wanted to have a small set of logs in order to see my current LTFT and STFT.
In order to check those i`ve logged groups 032 033 and 002 during a short city drive. Starting at engine coolant temp ~65 Celsius (outside temp arround 20 C).
I have observed something strange, LTFT figures were fixed:
-until engine warmed up, Group 032 Block 1 = -0.2% | Group 032 Block 2 = 0%
-at some point .............. Group 032 Block 1 = 0% | Group 032 Block 2 = 0%
-after engine warmed up, Group 032 Block 1 = 0% | Group 032 Block 2 = -0.8%

STFT figures were not fixed, going from -25% to +25%.

Any thoughts on these findings?
Btw, i`ve attached the logs below.

PS: if i`ve checked correctly in my stock file, NOLRA value is 4.

he need 380ccm injectors !!

all other to small for 240hp u need round 350ccm at 90 % duty cycle

and your fuel trims work not correctly i think u have not correct disable sai

I didnt modify the ori file. Car`s map is completely stock (as attached in my first post)
SAI was removed physically and i plugged a 330 Ohm 10Watt resistor in the connector. I only had 1 DTC on this since i did the modification (like 1 year ago).
The only DTC that i have is P0420 which pops-up from time to time (due to lack of catalytic converter).

Any other ideeas? :D

Hey guys, I just did my first map.:star:
As i got the tools necessary to fix the FKKVS properly, i`ll go ahead with the first small changes of my map.
Modifications are:
-317cc -> 386cc injectors:
->KRKTE: 0.08314
->TVUB: 1.7413 1.1387 0.8107 0.5973 0.4427
->FKKVS not touched yet (i`ll run some logs and check out new values of FKKVS fixer tool).

-N249 (please dont bash about this, i`ve read the forums :) ), J299, N112, Cat disable:
->AA FF 00 30 FF F8 30 changed to AA FF 00 F0 FF FB FC (ULT SLV SLP LSHHK set to 11)

-Catalyst Heating disabled:
->FKHABMN_0: 0.8 -> 0
->FKHABMN_1: 0.8 -> 0

After saving the modifications i observed that the file still didnt have an extension so i added the ".bin" required to use ME7.x-Corrector to do the checksums.

As i am a little paranoid about flashing my first file and not to brick my ECU, can you please check my file and give me the GO?
I`ll be using the KESSv2 clone to do the job.

Thank you!

Hello,
I`ve installed the new injectors, flashed the file above and everything seems almost OK.
There seems to be a little delay in acceleration after pedal input and i`ve also observed 2-3 clear hesitations in 5-6th gear at arround 5500rpm (~210-220kmh), after that all seemd ok, went to 240-245kmh on the clock (235 on GPS).
I`ve used the FKKVS fixer on the logs with about 75% smoothing factor and 3 passes and i got the new (theoretically improved) values.
I will update the map with those values and see how things are going. :D

Hello everyone,

Managed to figure out the issue above. Due to the way the fueling was implemented, my injectors were capping out (BTS+bad ignition efficiency, etc), requested lambda (although oem sensor can only measure down to 0.75) was going down to 0.6X.
Solution was to massage the fueling strategy an make the request no lower than ~0.76 lambda.

Having that settled, I went further to increase the boost and adapt the ignition timing but ...got into another issue. Got oscilatting boost.
I`ve logged 4th and 6th gears:
In 4th gear, i get few oscilations up to about 4500rpm since its accelerating fast. (HJ0002_20190910_213918.csv)
In 6th gear, i get a lot of oscilations since its accelerating slower (easier to see the issue). (HJ0002_20190911_001452.csv)

Any ideeas? is it possible to be a mechanical issue like the N75, weak actuator, etc.? Or it is because of the sw?

Thanks!
