focus 2007 dash change mls to km

Hello,

i have a focus that in dash shows mileage in miles. Is there a way to change it to Km?
Can it be done in eeprom or do i have to flash mcu.
dash reference is 4m5t-10849-fm

hi,

solved it with another dashboard and some reverse engeneering. My mcu is 9s12H256.
Mileage in miles or Km is in hex 0xC8.
00= display mileage in mls;
01= display mileage in km.

Maybe with vcm or something would be easier, but i don't have it.
Hope this helps someone.

I have been found on eprom hex 0x8C8 with 00
I did 01 and odo changed to km
