Hello, I have a used 2000 VW Beetle TDI instrument cluster that I would like to retrieve the login PIN in order to adapt to the vehicle. If anyone with VAG software could find it in the dump for me, I would appreciate it. Also, if you are feeling kind, I could use 168,000 miles instead of 229,500....

Try 01594 and report

01594 = Login Failed
I would note that I am using a Launch X431 with most current software, I will not have access to a VCDS for a few days.

You have immo II or III?

The cluster is out of a 2000, going into a 2001. I believe they are both immobilizer 2.

Check it because it matters.

Your PIN is correct, used the X431 to adapt instrument cluster and relearn key. It was IMMO 2. Thank you kindly, you saved the day.

In case anyone needs it here is the final dump with 165,690 miles. Pin code is 01594. Note that VW has immobilizer timeouts and you may have to walk away from adaptation for an hour or so. I was able to adapt with a basic Launch X431 Diagun V.
