Here it is, a Freelander ECU died when an idiot connected the fuel pump to a diagnostic line and the alarm line on the Engine ECU.
None of my diagnostics, Rovacom Faultmaate or hawkeye is talking to it. I took it out, connected it on my desk, opened up, found a burnt chip... Well... Dead is the verdict.

So I bought another engine ECU on Ebay, waited 3 weeks till it arrived here in Central America and like an idiot I assumed you could sinc it with the faultmate, because the helpfile says so.
Till .I found out in Rovacoms' forum that it onle does it with a NEW ECU .

I know, it has been discussed here.
I have downloaded 3 dumps that say they are virgin or new.. and many from others. Some I couldn't open cause they have a password..

then I compared them to find a pattern.. And there isn't really one.
Please review the attachment

Does anybody know the solution..
My original job was to change the fuel pump and connect it properly. The client is quite prepared to strangle me if I can't find a solution. I have wasted an incredible lot of tim in Land Rover forums and I just hope sombody can save me.

And because I am not un ungrateful person, please, ask me anything about Landrovers, especially P38s, Td5s Disco 2 you name it. It is just that one that beats me.
