2014 jeep grand cherokee srt changing front suspension

hi all
not sure if this is correct section

but i have been asked about a 2014 jeep grand cherokee
and they want to remove the front struts with some sort of sensors in them

will this bring up errors in the dash or any ecus

are these sensors for the electronic shocks or are they just level sensors
i havent seen the car yet
im just trying to chase up information before i get to deep

have not seen WK2 without air suspension... the front strut costs like a grand a piece... And they have quite a lot of issues also with compressor and relay box...
