Bought this pick because it looked an interesting one and was wondering if it prefers a sequence?

Is it picked clockwise or anti-clockwise?

Is decode same direction as picking ?

Thanks in advance 👍🏻

no sequence at all , just pick the binding wafers

as with any lishi you can pick it either way , whether clockwise or anto clockwise depends if right or left hand drive , also depends whether lock is on drivers dorr or passenger door

decode is same direction as picking

this lock has some fundimental key rules , which makes decode simpler in worn locks , odd positions will only house even numbered cuts , even positions will only house odd numbered cuts and no cut will be more than 3 cuts from the cut next to it , this simple knowledge of the key rules makes decoding far easier . you will see that one grid for decode houses even cuts the opposite grid houses the odd cuts , so odd positions read from the even numbered grid , even positions read from the odd numbered grid , it really couldnt be simpler .

door locks and boot locks only house 8 of the 10 wafers , some locks will have no wafers in positions 2 & 3 and some will have no wafers in positions 9 & 10 only the ignition lock houses all 10 wafers

knowing key rules for each lock where a lock has these makes life far easier , which is why this boring stuff should be projected and studied , so many neglect the boring knowledge but such knowledge is gold.

Thanks Rapid 👍🏻

I値l have to search auctions for a car to try this one on. Going to start gathering up these picks for older models as few lockies over here will have them and I知 sure they値l be used one day especially if cars are collectable. Got this one for 」10 brand new from one of my suppliers so had to get it and it looked an interesting one.

While your online maybe you can help. A mate has one of your key extraction kits and swears by it. Where can I pick one up ?
