That just proves my point that Meat-City and the entire Meat-Headshire is nothing but a LARGE shit hole, the workers properbly have to travel from outta town, becasue nobody has the intelligene to work the checkouts!

*COUGH* at price, but then again if you are going to risk snapping the legs of an eeprom, by doing silly stunts with bits of wire then suppose it's worth it.

and use a 93c56 eeprom - (another car alarm) to fit the 2nd file on.
and then a third 56 ( out of fiat immo or tv tuner) for third file.

even more off topic still no immo off file for the 'my turn' thread!

Oh yeah, i'm going to download 'this' EEprom CLIP SOIC 8pin 8 pin 4pcs with cable on eBay (end time 25-Jan-10 12:25:03 GMT) (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EEprom-CLIP-SOIC-8pin-8-pin-4pcs-with-cable_W0QQitemZ370297178218QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_D iagnostic_Tools_Equipment?hash=item56376e886a) but want to play with myself first. on the met-rot and the smelly boxer/ducato van!

will also be contacting www.heweb.co.uk (http://www.heweb.co.uk) (plug, plug) and see if they can help with eeproms and adaptors.

but right now the eeprom for the ducato/boxer seems to read ok, but it's won't wright to it!

question be will the 56 work or not, more memory so what the chip was distined for the bin, it's been saved!

farnells do those SOIC8 clips for ?10, was going to use one of them and a dip socket for my " ON TOPIC" eeprom on my ccr600 lol
