I've tried several files now
Can I confirm to clone correctly it is just flash and eeprom as I'm loosing the will.
Or should I only transfer the eprom on volvos and mod the replacement flash as opposed to the ori

I think... You just bricked this ecu while opening. Its not sw issuse but hardware issuse, even if it started first time, I had same problem

I've got another ecu coming. I suppose it's possible it's one with bdm pads on the underside however it ran on original OK ran on mod OK for 5 minutes now starts and cuts out.
Fault code incorrect SW
No signal from throttle module due to above
So thought checksum, solution or immo
Someone must have experienced similar issue, I personally have not in over 5 years not like this.
So on the replacement should I still transfer flash or just the eeprom. Could the original read in fact be junk??

Please do not worry, your file is not garbage, otherwise it would not start at all.

If you get ecu with same numbers than only eeprom is enough. Than you can read flash using k line.
Maybe better to drill hole to bdm pads than opening this ecus.

@a500tut I didn't mean your file I just thought maybe the original read was junk. Must be the ecu
