hello,

i have a damaged eeprom from opel movano juli-2004.
before i could read the memory it came up to be completely erased.

i have used a dump from sep 03, downloaded from this forum, but it won't show the milaege.
so i want to ask here for another dump of opel movano.
this is what show on the sticker on the bak of the cluster:

johnson control renault
v4.71
x70 std eu gm
21671946-7 date 19/02/04
ns7039385-f

the car is a movano 2,5dcti extra long

maybe it's a version 2, but i don't know so every dump is worth a try.

very very thanks in advance

regards

thank you, the strange thing is i tried some dumps downloaded from this forum and with one of them the gauges work, as well as the fuel and temperature indicator.
but no milaege is showm and the tripmeter is displayed where the clock used to be.
the clock is not present in the display as well.

so i think the file is not gonna work on this cluster.

i'll wait for your reply tomorrow.

hello, problem solved, i've pasted some dups together and it works, only this that is missing is the clock on display.

i'm glad the costumer doesn't mind.

thanks for all

I had the same problem, 93c66 eproms are hard to read and don't even try to read them onboard (data lost). Be carefull with this chips. Now I desolder the eprom and read it first with UPA in a special SOIC eprom socket.

yes, i noticed, i've had this same problem with an other c66 last year.

normally i read it with x-prog, but this time i did not at first.
i always de-solder the chips, just to rule out interference.

hard lesson learned today....
