Good morning to everybody...

Some time ago some DK mates worked with a Chrysler Stratus Y97, I leave here the thread:

https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...-1999-immo-off (https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/448347-Chrysler-Stratus-2-5-benz-1999-immo-off)

Right now I'm in a similar problem, since I need immo off a similar car here in Spain.

The vehicle is a Chrysler Stratus (Cabrio) JX 2.5 LX, automatic, Benz, Y96

While I don't have the car available, I have the ECU P / N: P04671316.

(I already put all values inside the eeprom to FF, all except VIN)

Unfortunately I don't have the vehicle nearby, I only have the ECU and I don't know if I have to perform any other operation.

Should I make a jump or cut any cable of the ECU? Do I have to do something in the Skim?

Simply by overwriting the eeprom the car is immobilized or is it necessary to perform any other operation?

Any advice is welcome.

Thank you all for taking the time to read my post..

Does it look like a Mitsubishi eclipse?

FF every line in ST so-8 eeprom inside ecu accept leave the VIN intact. Its 95080 but uses masking number. Customer will need to unhook skim before installing. Should be good to go after that as long as no one hooks skim back up.

Hi Narkeleptk, good morning and thanks for your time.

I have already replaced all values, except vin, within the eeprom with FF.

If I understand you correctly, before connecting the ECU again, should the owner disconnect the SKIM?

Simply disconnecting it would be enough?

Thanks again.

Yes just need to unhook but go ahead and tell them to remove it from car so no one hooks it back up by mistake later on.
