It could be same software but ive had succes with obdprog mt401 on polo 2015-2016.

I tried on polo 2016 with digimaster3, dp4 with latest update and the mt401.

Only the mt401 could do it through obd!
Its not very expensive tool but covers different models then expensive tools.
