Mondeo 2001 4C problem

Hello,

I tried to program 4C transponder to Mondeo 2001 year with IDS but not succeed.
Is that type has to be prepared before programming or not?
If yes how to do it?

2001 is a cross over year , is it defo 4c and not 4D ? if you deleted all keys did you code at least 2 keys back to it

It is 4C transponder (glass one original transponder was crashed so I saw glass). I tried to add key - no success and after erase keys + add keys no success?
I purchased 3 new 4C glass transponders and try with IDS.

most mondeo ive seen after year 2000 use the glass 4d id60 chip , are you 100% sure its not glass id60

ID60 blank ( 4D grafit one) I tried to add before 4C.

Try ID60 glass (might be from 2nd hand keys). Old Ford 'likes' only glass chips.

Had same problem with one of these used ID60 glass transponder. MVP, xtool pad, SKP900 wouldn’t program key. Used cheap Chinese CK100 and added key no problem
