VW Lupo 2000 IMMO3 Immobox Problems Plz Advise!

Hi Peeps

Car Had One Working Key. But....
Trying To Add A Transponder Chip To Lupo Valeo Immobox Immo3, I'm Pretty Confident I Found The Correct Pin Code Off 24C04 Eeprom From Looking At Various Other Dump's. However Reworked The 24C04 Back Onto Board "Looks Mint" I Mean I've Lifted Atmels And Such Like SMD's For Years With Success, But This ***** Has Gotten The Better Of Me This Evening After Multiple Lifts And Even A New 24C04 Programmed And Reworked Down. Nothing.... Car Just Cuts Out On Original Key That Was Using.... Diag Confirms Immobiliser Blocking. I Know The Chip Is Correct Way As followed Power Line First Of All Then Even Found A Web Link With Board Pic To Be Sure...

Where Am I Going Wrong?
I Intend To Sleep On It As Been Long Day.
Any Advice More Than Welcome From An Experienced Person In This Matter.

I Presumed The Original Working Key Would Still Work After Reworking Chip...

Did Not Expect That..

Presumed Use My Modus or VCDS to Add a Key Not Have To Start Again With No Keys Paired..

Well Its Not Now... So Car Wont Start On Any Key Now..


SOLVED.

DEFINATLY NO IMMO OFF SOLUTION TO THIS ECU.

I tried various methods and dump files to no success.
In the end after buying another immo box from breakers yard discovered a dropped resister on my immo box under 24c04 chip that was lifted. Hence the immo box did not communicate in vcds properly and did not show vin/immo info. Only took me a week lol.
Hard way to discover but got there in the end.
1. Started fresh with virgin ecu and known immo pin.
2. Open engine ecu in vcds.
3. Adaptation channel 50 enter immo pin test.
4. Notice vin/immo info and save.
5. Wait 2min ign off.
6. Open immobiliser in vcds.
7. login with immo pin.
8. Adaptation channel 1.
9. Add number of new keys and save.
Keys now matching immo box will start vehicle.

Hope this helps others in the same sticky situation I was in. ��
