Peugeot 306 counter reset?

Hi

I have had to put another set of clocks in the wifes 2001 peugeot 306 and want to set the milage to what it should be, I have an obdII cable and can connect to the car, can anyone tell me how I can change the milage please.

Would be a dealer job, I am afraid. The instrument panel is connected to a pin in the diagnostic connector that your cable does NOT connect to.

look on net ppl do it for about 30-40 pounds and i think you cant do it by the obd port
