Hi all.
I want to buy a Ecu Programmer. I see many people use a USB-ASP.

Could USB-ASP Erase/Read/Write D80D0WQ also?
On Data Specs there is no D80D0WQ support in list.

Need to buy a R270 for these Chips seperatly?

Is D0D0WQ changeable with M35080?

Thank u

If there is not specified support for D80D0WQ then for sure will not be supported

Leaving jokes asside D80D0WQ and M35080 are special eeprom and to read them upa or any other eep programmer will be ok but to erase the first 2 lines is another thing.

So yes r270 or other like this programmer that have in the specification that can erase this type of eep will be necessary to get.

D0D0WQ and M35080 are interchangable. You can write and erase both of them with UPA-USB programmer. I have done it. But they are many other typed of this EEPROM,M35080-3, M35080-6,M35080-VP, M35080-V6, D80D0WQ, M35080 6, M35080 VP, M35080 V6, 160D0WQ, which can not be erased but only writen if they are empty.

Even if you buy R270, chances are you need to do some modification of hardware to be able to erase all of this eeproms.

Thanks for fast answers. So i have to buy a USBASP and spent money for R270 better on few rewritable Chips (if they are interchangeable?) like explained in this Thread?
https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/179874-35080-EPROM-names

So i can use USBASP to READ and Write them to rewriteable Chips... Then there is no reason to buy a R270 too...
Where can i buy these rewriteable 35080 in Europe? Whats the specific Name of these rewritables?

These can only be used once, if you need to re-use the chip, then a suitable eraser hardware is required.

It is not better for me to solder a rewriteable?

I change the mileage with a Digiprog3. Digiprog cant change once used chips....
Is there a Pc Tool to Change and write mileage over USBASP?
