i have a 2002 chevy silverado with a locked radio.
i would like to unlock the radio. what do i need to read??

Once you have the code, the owner's manual tells you how to disable the theftlock. If you don't have one, Google one. ;)

is there another way of getting the unlock code. the customer support Phone # provided is disconnected.

Hmmm, I haven't had to use that for years so was unaware it was out of service. Damn.

Those aren't connected to the class2 data line, so using a scanner is out.

I guess you have to read the eeprom if there is one.

Or got any friends at a dealership, get the 6 number code and ask them.
