PORSCHE boxster 1999 engine control module swap

hello to everyone. i am swapping a porsche boxster 1999 engine control module. what do i need to swap from the original to the used unit to get this car running. thank you in advance

can anyone help me out with this issue? i am looking for alarm module and engine control module as set. both eeps. engine control module part number is 996.618.601.04 and alarm module is M535 996.618.260.07. i think the module is old type, one big connector. can you guys help me with this????????

ok, but remember the me5.2 is original and m535 is brand new from the dealer. if this helps.......i will post it both readings today

in other threader someone told eeprom ist enough... but if new it should be virgin? so coding?

i have the tools to program it but no pin codes of any type..........
