Anyone done successfully one of this with vvdi prog + vvdi2?
Not sure if vvdi2 has option for crafter.

Yes, works fine.
Make sure to select the correct mask.
Best to only read the eeprom, not write back.
Created a dealer key, then add by obd, usng vcds.
Insert dealer key, in ignition, wait about 10 minutes security time.
Learn with pin.

Inserting the key, with a dealer transponder.
That will do.

You mean make Dealer. Put key in turn key and wait 10 min?

Make dealer key, connect to immo with vcds, input security code,go to adaptation channel,key learn.
You can't get access , everything is in red.
After 5mins or so will become green and let you adapt the key...

Pinout from mercedes sprinter 2006-.
I could not see the mask.wanted to take off the coil but I just tried to read the id with prog.came out to be 0L15Y.
From same immobilizer - benz- sprinter 2006- I read the eep.worked!
I did not wrote back the new file as suggested by you but I'm sure it would not be a problem.i cloned a vito eis same mask-all good.
The file was accepted by tango and vvdi2.
Made dealer key with vvdi2 and learn it with vcds...

Wrong choice of mask: some progs simply read, whatever mask you choose.
You can have Read the immo data, but might not have the full eeprom data.
Writing back wrong or incomplete eeprom could lead to problems.
