hello folks im working on 2008 VW GTI MICRONAS CDC3217G + 24LC32
tried programming thru obd2 with vvdi and failed.
ny question is can i put this micronas in service kode? to gain access thru obd
do i need to read micronas cdc3217g on bench
i only have vvdi prog for mcu reads

i wasnt aware that we can put these micronas dash on service mode.
can someone edit me file? procedure after installing cluster back onve in service mode.

also does the boot pin method only work woth supervag? can vvdi2 be used? is there a 12v signal on that boot signal?

With VVDi too
but Booh pin is not for beginners.
I fixed maybe 10-15 cluster with chks error after boot pin metode
in a fact - you need open cluster, so better read epp and save it as backup

would you like to explain the method to me please. i will try depending how risky it looks.
but other than the boot mode method. i have save the epp what do i do next Martin? thanks

simple read epp , do service mode, write epp , and get access to cluster
from what i see ... this is the best way for you

what address line to I edit on this epp.
I always thought you cant put micronas and encrypted epp in serivxe mode. I thought these epp had to be isolated( meaning not sharing immo info with mcu)
